Book to Movie Trailer Frenzy!

So, for those that know me would already imagine how excited I would get if I saw the trailer for Gillian Flynn’s books as movies.

For Gone Girl I went crazy a few weeks hyped and anxious. I needed to see it! I was so excited it was the only thing I would talk about. Reading the book was amazing! Amy is a goddess! & don’t think I’m a creep or weirdo but she executed her plan perfectly because in the end, even if the cops knew what she had done, no one could prove it. My friend studies Criminology and she is now also obsessed with the novel.

Now, I am super excited for this other movie. As some might know, Dark Places will be made into a movie and I just saw the international trailer. I AM IN LOVE! I NEED TO SEE IT ASAP! There is no going around it!

I know, I’m using tons of exclamation points and I am literally screaming in my head. Thrillers are my weakness and I just love how the book can keep you all tangled up with the story; now imagine it as a movie. Exactly! Gone Girl kept me on edge, both movie and book. I really want to feel the same with Dark Places. I need to re-read it before it comes out.

Below is the trailer so you can enjoy it with me. 🙂

Bookish Movie Frenzy!

Yesterday I saw Paper Town! OMG I laughed way more than I expected. I read the book about three times last year so it was a must to go see the movie. It was a last minute thing, but I’m glad we stopped to see it. That’s the beauty of having a friend that worked at that same movie theater and now works for the “big people” that own the chain of movie theaters. xD

As you can see in the photo, I bought a Paper Towns’ t-shirt. Actually I bought two, the one above and one that says

“the town was paper but the memories were not”

If you haven’t read the book then what are you waiting for? After you read the book, then you should watch the movie (just my advice). As I said before, I laughed a lot and fell in love with the story all over again.

***Procede with Caution***

I was a bit sad that there were a few scenes from the book that weren’t added to the movie, but they made up for those scenes by adding Radar’s girlfriend to the road trip. If you read the book you would know that she rarely appears and it was such a nice thing to add her. She gave it a special touch in the movie. Even the author, John Green, was surprised with how great she was in the movie that he wished he had done something like that with her in the book.

Cover Reveal Frenzy! Pt. 4

OMG OMG OMG! The cover reveal for the novellas by Victoria Aveyars, that are part of Red Queen, are perfect. I am super excited! I NEED THEM ASAP!  Both e-novellas are set before Glass Sword.

Here’s novella #1

Coriane recounts her heady courtship with the crown prince, the birth of a new prince, Cal, and the potentially deadly challenges that lay ahead for her in royal life.

It will be released on September 1st.

Here’s novella #2

Captain Farley was raised to be strong, but being tasked with planting the seeds of rebellion in Norta is a tougher job than expected. Cover Reveal Frenzy! PT. 3

I’m late in posting this since it was reveals days ago, but better late than never. xD

Red Queen was amazing! Breath-taking! Left me speechless! I can’t wait for the sequel to be released. I want to order it now but I’m going to wait calmly, can’t be rushing myself to buy it now.

Are you as excited as I am? I know that my bookish friends have been hyping about it and honestly I want to join in, but I prefer to keep calm before I start hyperventilating from the excitement.

This baby will be released on February 9, 2016.

Cover Reveal Frenzy! pt. 2

This cover was not revealed recently, but it’s the first time I see it! OMG OMG OMG! It looks perfect! I am going to begin hyperventilating!

This baby will be released on September 1, 2015 by Harper Teen.

Catacomb is the third novel in the series called Asylum.

This is one of my favorite series and I can’t wait to dive into it! I want to know what’s going on with Dan and his friends. Things began creepy in Asylum and then they got creepier with Sanctum. I’m super excited!

  • No Place Like Oz (prequel)
  • The Witch Must Burn (prequel)

  • Heart of Tin (prequel)

You should totally give this series a try. I enjoyed it very much and I hope you do as well.  đź™‚
